Today was the day! Colton had his baseball assessments (nice way of saying try-outs). He was so nervous, but did awesome. They had him hit 4 pitches, then on the 4th, run to 1st base. Then pick up his mitt and go out to the outfield and catch some fly balls. Then they hit some grounders to him and he had to run in and get them and throw them to 1st base. All the while, 6 coaches lined a fence and watched, and took notes. I understand why he was so nervous.
I am so proud of him, he has waited so long to play baseball, and this spring is going to be a blast watching him shine!
