Wood was carved, fun was had, and trophies were won!!!
After last year's upset of Colton's rockin car coming in dead last, but getting 2nd place in best looking, we had a goal of just having a good time. We did figure out that all the fancy carving doesn't make for a faster car. Its all in the wheels. So we ground those puppy's down and it paid off!
Colton took 2nd place! He was so excited. When we sat down to discuss what shape he wanted to make for his car, his first idea was a surf board.
And a surf board he got! I must say, my boys pulled it off quite nicely. I am so proud of their handy work. Now for the race they had to tape on some weights, but that was just for racing. He has also been invited to go to the district finals.
Way to go Colton!

here is a little hint from the packer family do a brighter font cuz it is kinda hard to read. do like a liter blue or purple.

Way to go Colton! That is awesome. Must fee great to do so well. Your car is sooo cool looking. I love it. I can't believe how tall you are. You kids are growing up too fast! Love you guys!
