On my morning walk with my friend Kellie, we got on the subject of public speaking. I made the mistake of saying that I don’t do so well, and my emotions get the best of me. I should have kept my mouth shut and just politely listened, because the following Saturday we got the call to speak.
So it’s Wednesday and I am already stuck on where to start. Okay, so I started by reading the conference talk we were assigned to, but that’s as far as I have gotten. I am not good at this! Do you think it is bad to pay for someone to do it for me? Really, I will stand up there and deliver the message, just type it out so I can read it. Oh, and please include a brief intro of my family.

My best advice: D&C 84:85. Just study all you can for your talk and trust in the spirit. When you get up there to give your talk the spirit will help you know what to say and it will be the right words. _Diedre Gray
