Chase seems to have a large target on his mouth when he goes for a spill. He was running to the bathroom on Sunday and took a header into the sink. Poor kid hit smack onto his mouth. There was blood and tears, and a loose tooth. Finally after so many injuries to his little mouth, that front tooth gave up and said enough.
Yesterday we got him in to see his dentist. Thank goodness the root is not broken but there was a lot of bruising and swelling, so we left with antiboitics and mouth rinse and an return appointment in 2 weeks to do more x-ray's and see what he wants to do.
We hope and pray that with a little time that root will firm back up and hold onto his little tooth for a few more years. If not, its a root canal and crown.
