Labor Day for us is usually filled with canning something. It has turned into a fun tradition for us. We had a great day with Grandma and Papa Jeffries doing corn. The kids were good helpers husking the corn, even with the worms. We always love having Grandma and Papa at our house. Thanks for the burgers and shakes, and of course the girls have to stop by the quilt shop. After all that work was done we needed some more play, so went to see Despicable Me. What a great show, maybe Dave has been out of town too long and I was needing a serious laugh, it hit my funny bone. :)

Being out of town on business, I'm totally bummed that I had to miss such a wonderful day. Shucking corn in the fall, ain't nothing better!
