I have always had the desire to be a good writer. I really loved all my English classes in high school and college, but I don't think that I have a strong talent in writing. So... I started to research "How to write". Seriously, I feel very self conscious about and it and it is something that I like to do. With all my searching and reading, I came across a web-site for blogger Mom's, and she gave a tutorial on how to make your blog better and how to become a better writer.
So here I go. Step 1. ALL ABOUT ME.
Right out of High school I started to work at IHC in the radiology department and loved it. During high school I really got into Interior Design, and wanted to go away to Design school in San Francisco. I took a trip to even check out schools, but something held me back. I got a little scared to leave home, so I stayed with IHC and worked my way up through the department and later moved into Human Resources. I was with IHC for 10 years and had some great experiences. I sometimes wonder how my life would have been different if I would have gone away to school.
I did a lot of traveling and some college here and there my post high school days. I had a friend who nanny'd in AZ and she wanted me to come check it out, so I took a leave of absence and moved to AZ. It was a great experience. However, nothing was working out. I couldn't find work, and my job at IHC was pressuring me to come back. So my Mom and Dad flew out to pick me up and bring me home.
It wasn't much longer after coming home from AZ that I met Dave at my singles ward. We dated about a month, got engaged and then married a couple of months later. It was the start to a fast paced and exciting life. We had Colton a week before we celebrated our 1st anniversary. We have lived in Murray, Holladay, Taylorsville, Midvale, Sandy, Tennessee and now Provo. Morgan came a couple of years after Colton and then Chase is our little caboose, our 1st 3rd child, our startover baby. He joined the family 6 years after Morgan.
I love the life I have led. It hasn't always been easy, but I have made it up each hill with the strong faith that I learned from my Grandma, and witnessed through my Mom. I have had so many wonderful examples in my life. Each one saying to keep close to the gospel. With that, you can accomplish and make it through anything.
My Grandma always said, if you ever have a problem get down on your knees and start prayin.
