Yearly Visit

Last week with Dave gone to scout camp, we headed to Grandma and Papa's house for a little get away. It was so fun playing and just hanging out.

On Tuesday my Mom had a party in her backyard that I helped out with. There were about 50 women there and it was amazing. At one point as she was talking to the women about her heritage and spending time with her grandparents, I had a glimpse of what I would say about my kids and the time they have spent with them. I am so grateful for my parents and for the relationship they have with my kids. They love going to there house. They not only have a beautiful yard to run and play in, but their home is warm and full of love.

We headed down to the Gateway to visit the planetarium on Thursday. There is always a good show to see and lots of fun things to learn.

On Friday Dave picked up Chase and I to head up to Primary Children's for Chase's yearly check-up on his heart. While we were waiting we visited with the US Ski team. They were there visiting the kids and were giving out pins and autographed pictures. They gave Chase a matchbox car with glued on skis. He loved it because they got to race them on a track. They were fun guys. Then Chase caught sight of a Thomas train and that was it for the ski team.

I was so proud at how well he laid there for over 40mins while they were doing his EKG and then for his Dr.
Everything is looking good, with no damage or need for concern. So, next year we will make our way there again.
